About

Parker Mackley Revers

Hi, I’m Parker Mackley Revers, CPT, and an LMT candidate (expected December 2026). I’m a doer: a builder, explorer, and fighter. My story begins with my family: a mom with a huge heart, a dad with relentless positivity, and a sister with rare intuition. I am lucky!

Over the past couple of decades, I learned through high school speech and debate that impediments are not disorders, but quite the contrary. I learned to walk the path less taken through rare aquatic fish breeding. I learned to fight for something far greater than myself through boxing at the University of Notre Dame, albeit my diploma says BA History, honors. I learned to tell stories with numbers for healthcare behemoths at Morgan Stanley. Afterward, I joined the startup Seed Health and learned that science isn’t done until it’s communicated. Then I applied all those learnings to OpenMat, a social map company I founded and raised a lot of money for. Now I work with cool people and big ideas with a critical why.

Mind, body, and spirit are one, and so I tend to prioritize physical learning just as much as “academic” knowledge. I trained jiu jitsu under the great John Danaher and drop into open mats whenever and wherever I can around the world. I found a love for slacklining and learned that not just my physical balance, but also my emotional balance, evolved. And now I’m a student at Berkana Institute, where I’m learning a lot about this superpower called human touch.

I owe a whole lot to mentors like Mrs. McInerney (high school English professor), Coach Matt (collegiate boxing coach), Raja (business guru), Tim (angel investor), Jill (Berkana Institute), and probably just as much to close friends, you know who you are.

I believe in showing up to the gym, to jiu jitsu, to concerts, to massage, to whatever brings you into direct contact with reality and community. I believe in building things that challenge our status quo and move us forward towards higher values. I believe in one God, how great our world is and will become, and how lucky we are to be here. And I believe in thinking for yourself and standing up for what matters.

I’ve had the opportunity to live for months on end in Bangladesh; Beijing, China; London, UK; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Austin, TX; and Florence, Italy. I’ve also backpacked across Europe and throughout India. These experiences have deeply affected my worldview and make me the hardcore optimist I am today.

Whether it’s an essay or something I’m working on, I hope something here lands and changes you. Send me an email. Then log off, get outside, and go affect someone else for the better.
